The Brevet de technicien superieur (BTS) is very near to the Higher National Diploma (HND). It is a work-related course provided by higher and further education college. A BTS is the equivalent to two years at university.
Our school offers 15 students to graduate with a BTS diploma becoming high level professionals on the domains of Fluids, Energy and Home Automation. They are trained over a two-year-course, half time at school, the other half in businesses, as apprentices. They have both status of students and workers. They study various elements related to fluids (air-conditioning, heating), energy supply (electricity, etc) and the developing aspects of automation and how to run them thanks to computer-based equipments. They can work on facilities ranging from dwellings to business facilities.
This diploma is a high valued one, by the knowledge students will acquire as well as the professional impact they will gain, actually working in their companies and applying what they have leant at school.
